  Something I’ve always felt needed some addressing was the fact that there are millions of women who are marrying for reason’s other than to start a family. To be honest, (and this is easy for me to say as an outsider I realize,) but I’ve always felt women marrying for companionship at a later age, in particular after a failing divorce or two, was a bad idea, ludicrous even.  After spending some time going through the Garter Brides website and watching  their You Tube clips, I  have a deeper understanding of why a woman would want to settle into a relationship for life, when she already has one.  Indeed this is a completely different context and paradigm than marrying for love and to start a family in your 20′s or thirties.  For those of you reading this that are over 35 and looking to marry for life, when you already have one, I’d recommend you spend some time reading the Garter Brides Book and visiting their website before you take the plunge; because this indeed is an entirely different ball game ladies. Lets not use the only skills we have. Women need to express all the time. The mere act of expressing is often all a woman needs, to come to her senses and make the necessary changes to get the results she wants.
